Dionysus is a science fiction webcomic set on the planet of the same name. Here, the Illustrati sit at the top of society, and those not amongst their lucky few have little choice or chance at better lives. Their only options are crime or revolution. We get to follow those who chose both.
The Artist:
Emily Dahms is an aspiring graphic novelist, currently pursuing a studio art degree and specializing in illustration. An avid sci-fi fan, she has recently embarked on a tour of classic sci-fi literature. Dionysus is an attempt to fill the perceived void of good science fiction webcomics. She also has a solo project of her own called Silent Nova. She hopes to begin working on this at the conclusion of Dionysus.
Some of her favorite works/series include: Metroid, Doctor Who, Dune, Ender's Game, and Firefly.
The Writer
Taylor Boothby is a game design and creative writing student. He certainly reads enough sci-fi, so he thought maybe he could do it himself.
He and Emily share similar interests in science fiction series and works. Some of his favorites include: Red Dwarf, Bone, Foundation, and The Matrix.
